Very good phone mount

I've had this mount on my bike for a few weeks now and am very satisfied with it. The blue mounting thing is very stable on the stem and requires a good deal of force to move it around (I'm currently using the rubber bands to hold it on). During rough rides, the phone is completely solid and doesn't budge at all. I really like how the phone is attached and removed from the mount - it's brilliant. The case is of good enough quality that I now use it all of the time, replacing my Speck case. It doesn't have the extra rubber layer that my Speck case had but it should still be at least as protective as all of the regular cases out there. I haven't used the poncho in the rain yet but it fits nicely over the phone case and still allows good finger contact with the phone screen.
I do wish that they would have done a couple of things differently though. The volume buttons on the case need to to protrude more so that you can feel them without looking. It's very difficult if not impossible to change the volume using these buttons unless you're looking directly at them. Second, it would be nice if the poncho had little doors over the power and headphone sockets. My iphone uses about 1% of battery per minute when running a gps bike program plus bluetooth sensors and music, etc. so I use an external battery (Mophie) with a USB extension cable. The poncho completely covers everything so it's impossible to keep the iphone powered on long rides in the rain. These are minor issues though. It's still a great product.

Hopeful

At first I thought the Quad Lock was an amazing design and then the bike mount broke after two months. I'm hoping it was a defective unit. I will change my review if Annex exchanges my mount and I find that the mount holds up. If the mount doesn't break it's a wonderful design. If the mount didn't break I would still be impressed at the design of the design.
My mount broke at one of the hooks that the rubber bands hold to. I will post how Annex handles warranties after I go through the process.

After e-mailing Annex to see if they would warranty my bike mount I found that there customer service is quick to respond (considering they are based in Australia) and are friendly. They said they were sending me a new mount and haven't had any problems with it. I was told my broken mount is unusual. I'm hopeful that their report is correct. I really like the design of the case and mount and look forward to seeing how the new mount holds up. I will repost a few months after I receive the new mount. If they are durable I give the case a solid 5 star rating.

No more Failiers

My Bike Rides Have been Nothing but a headache trying to shuffle threw my music with one hand and focusing on the road with the other.
With this devise its like heaven, i can see the road and at the same time manage my music or my map. even with my accidental falls my phone was in tacked >>>>No Dammage
