Great for IPad 2

I am a college commuter. I drive an two hours four days a week for school. I wanted a mount for my ipad and after looking at tons was between this and a more permanent one. I bought this hoping it would work well. I am thrilled with this product. It suctions to the windshield and the arm rests on the dash. The telescoping arm pulls out so the tablet rests just beyond the dash. The angle is adjustable and able to be tightened.
I don't have any issue with the tablet moving while driving or using it on the road. for the price it can't be beat. The only reason for the four stars is the bracket is a little cumbersome to get your tablet in and out of. To hold any tablet the manufacturer made the bottom spring-loaded. It's a strong spring to make sure the tablets not loose but makes it hard to get the ipad in and out. Another note is I don't know how it would do holding a tablet vertically I always put mine in landscape mode.

Passable for the price.

I work in the IT field and I need to access my iPad and windows 7 tablet from my car on a regular basis. I was hoping this allow me to keep them at the ready for when I needed them, which it "technically" does. It is easy to assemble, and it comes with short and long fasteners which allow you to use it with different size tablets or use it with your tablet (iPad) with or without the case. The fasteners hold the my tablets firmly in place, the issue is the arm that extends back to your windshield, it is flimsy, and the suction cup is little more than what holds my small Garmin GPS in place. The arm absolutely has to be propped up against the dashboard to even do a passable job at holding my tablets in place. Even propped against the dashboard, my iPad sways to and fro quite a bit while moving and even when the car is stopped, it still shakes/jitters more than I'm comfortable with and no amount of adjusting helped.
As the title states, this mount does a passable job for what it costs, it does feel flimsy and somewhat cheaply made, and allows more jittering/shaking than I would like, but I didn't really expect champaign on soda pop prices.

Excelent device!!!
Good materials, very practical and adaptable, fits wonderfully!!! I fully recomended to people searching not only a windshield mount but this thing is more versatil, I can put it in the window of my kitchen to watch videos while Im there or on the table, closet, mashiwasher, etc. Its perfect.
