Very Impressed.

I am very impressed with the quality of this item. I have friends that have spent over $400 on their motorcycle stereo systems, and this one is not only louder, but better quality of sound. For mounting on my VTX I also bought the shark chrome mounts you can get on this site. But everyone that has heard it is highly impressed with the sound and quality. For $85 you really can't go wrong. BTW, this is the only review I have ever given because I am that impressed.

great sound, but...

These sound great! The speaker/amp section is awesome. Remote is ok-worked about 80% of the time. Mine was defective in the sense that the volume control didn't function on the input mode, so I sent it back-which was a pain because it was time consuming to install (routing wires/plugs, terminating, removing gas tank, etc.)
But the kicker for me was, it doesn't turn on with the ignition? WTF? So every time you stop, you have to dig out the amp/remote to turn it back on. if you don't have the amp where you can see it, you have to keep trying the remote (which I mentioned didn't work all the time).
The model down from this one has a volume knob and comes on everytime you turn the ignition on (or in my case, a switch). it was a little cheaper, but has the same power and speakers. If you don't really need FM or USB in, go with the MC400
